Happy November!

It’s the season for gratitude, and while we may find it easy to find gratitude in our day to day- having gratitude towards are bodies doesn’t always come naturally. 

Think about it, our culture can make body acceptance feel impossible even on the best of days, so gratitude can sometimes feel like a stretch! So, how do we go from body negativity to body gratitude? We practice! Practicing gratitude and appreciation is key 🔑 . It may sound cliche, but this simple act of developing a grateful attitude can change everything. Rather than focusing on everything you don’t like about your body, switch it up and every time you have a bad body thought, give yourself two compliments or list two ways your body showed up for you.

Action step: keep a gratitude journal. Write down 3 things every day that you are grateful for! When you start counting your blessings your gratitude will expand!
